Attribution policies
When one install finds several visits, the policy decides which one gets the credit. A single visit is always credited.

| First visit | first_visit | Credits the oldest visit in the journey, and each platform receives its earliest click. |
| Single visit only | unique | Credits nothing: the install is recorded as ambiguous, and only webhooks receive it. |
Change the policy in Settings. It applies to installs reported after the change; recorded installs keep their result. Installs reported with a handoff token always credit the token's visit and are recorded with the policy explicit_handoff.
Several visits usually mean one person came back, but they can also come from different people sharing an OS account, or from different browser profiles. unique refuses to guess in those cases, at the cost of crediting fewer installs.
